about us

Play To Move is a private physical therapy practice specializing in pediatrics serving the Los Angeles area. We provide screenings, evaluations, Teletherapy, and in-home therapy services. 

 

Concerned your infant or child is not meeting their gross motor developmental milestones? Is your child unable to keep up with similar-aged peers? Play To Move can help you navigate your concerns, address your goals, and if necessary, provide you the appropriate recommendations and referrals.

 

Play To Move specializes in addressing gross motor delays including developmental gross motor delays related to the following diagnoses: Developmental Delay, Down Syndrome, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Torticollis, Plagiocephaly, Cerebral Palsy, Rett Syndrome, Idiopathic Toe-Walking, Neurological Disorders, Rehabilitation-Related to Pediatric Cancer, Orthopedic-Related Diagnoses, and various other Rare Genetic Disorders. We want to be sure therapy is “playful” and motivating for your little one so that they meet their therapy goals including age-appropriate gross motor skills.

ABOUT JENNA TOMLINSON

FOUNDER AND PHYSICAL THERAPIST

Jenna Tomlinson, PT, DPT, graduated from Loyola Marymount University with a B.S. in Natural Sciences in 2008. It is here she developed her passion for Physical Therapy. In 2011, she graduated from Western University of Health Sciences, earning her Doctorate of Physical Therapy. Jenna has always had a passion for children and therefore completed her two final clinical rotations in Pediatrics. Since 2011, she has spent her career in pediatrics, working in the hospital, outpatient, in-home, and school settings. Through her career she has worked with various populations including early intervention, developmental delay, neurological disorders, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Down Syndrome, Torticollis, and various orthopedic-related diagnoses. Her passion lies in assisting little ones learn how to best move their bodies and develop age-appropriate gross motor skills through play-based therapeutic activities.
